Why is this not an official course? University of Waterloo requires that all CS students pass CS341 Algorithms (which seems to be exactly this course), and even offers and advanced version, CS466 Algorithm Design and Analysis. Is this not common?
Here is the course website from the summer term, it has course notes and assignments. The book is MITs Introduction to Algorithms.
