It's hard to avoid talking about politics when a particular viewpoint is forced upon you by your manager, along with the stated expectation that you will publicly (not just professionally, during work hours or among colleagues) conform to their own viewpoint.
These allegations are part of a suit filed on behalf of fired Google engineer James Damore that seeks to represent white males and conservatives who feel as if they've been the target of discrimination.
