Ask HN: What Is SEPA Equivalent in South East Asia?

I have been living in UK/Europe for quite some time and i love not to use cash and being able to pay things cheaply.

What is the equivalent of SEPA for SEA? I know that there is such thing like FPX in Malaysia but if there is none, what are the biggest barriers to have something like SEPA?
