Thank You HN:Update on my old post

2 years ago I had posted here about my situation here on HN:

I was 24 at that time and my life was in a very bad condition.This is an update to follow up on my previous post.

The advice and counselling I received in the post was really helpful and practical.It helped me develop a new perspective in life.I am much more positive and optimistic today.

Fast forward 2 years,I am in a much better position now compared to those days.I went back to college and finished my degree.I practiced programming and worked for a guy who was a full time freelancer.I worked with PHP/JavaScript,Native android app and Windows forms development(with C#),though none of the projects I worked on can be used in my personal portfolio as I was only a subcontractor.I still have so much to work on.

I would like some advice this time on my career.I aspire to be a Independent freelancer/remote worker.I can work in the above mentioned technologies.Not having a portfolio is preventing me from achieving this goal.I need some serious advice regarding this.Any help offered is appreciated.If you have any projects to be built,I am available for hire.My email id is in my bio.
