Ask HN: How can I raise a million bucks in less than 6 months?

Not talking about angel inverstors/vc capital. Want to be able to sell something(legal) to raise cash. Any ideas would be appreciated.

The reason I want to raise that amount is to buy a company going bankrupt with lots of assets(IP).
