Ask HN: Is there a mediator service for freelance coders?

Hello HN,

I am a freelance coder and really love what I do. My only problem is: I am so horribly bad at selling myself/my skills that it is really hard for me to get gigs. It's not because of lack of skill in coding but my inability to promote myself.

Are there any services that mediate between freelancers and customers and get paid a percentage of the brokered contract? Like: You get me customers and I'll pay you 20% worth the contract.
