This is probably my #1 misconception when I first started trying out my various business ideas.
I always assumed it was more like the other way around. 90% inspiration and 10% perspiration. Maybe not quite that lop-sided, but I figured once you had a good enough idea it would pretty much work itself out if you knew what you were doing.
It's a non-stop hustle though. I quit my job working 40 hours a week thinking I'd live the easy life working for myself. Now I'm working 60+ hours a week from home instead. Much higher work load. This is the life I've chosen though, and I definitely don't regret it.
