Ask HN: How important name of a project is?

Yesterday, someone opened up an issue on Github for a project that I maintain (CaptainDuckDuck) with this title: "Change the name to "Captain" so that I can ask my boss if we can use it". https://github.com/githubsaturn/captainduckduck/issues/194

Do you not look at the project if it doesn't have a sophisticated name? How important do you think the name is?
