Ask HN: Best encrypted cloud storage option?

What is the best option for storing my files in the cloud, completely encrypted and secure?

Not like Dropbox, or other services where a government entity could force the company in giving up someone's files. Completely secure.

If rolling my own from home is the best option, any software recommendations?

I'm using http://duplicity.nongnu.org/features.html incremental backup with GnuPG encryption.

I use Tarsnap for storing backups of my files. Data is encrypted client-side, so the server can't decrypt it. Tarsnap is designed for backups, though, not for general file storage.
