How did you get the business/project you are currently working on off the ground?

Did it start off as a side hustle, or were you able to completely commit to it? What were the financial factors?

In my case, I am building my company (https://weardulo.com) in the mornings, evenings and weekends, while I also have a full-time job as a web developer. I am bootstrapping it with a 50/50 co-founder.
