Ask HN: What Finance Management Tool do you use in startup (5-50 hires) and why?

I'm interested to hear how people manage finance / budget in their company and any advice on that score.

Do you have integrations with your bank, do you rely on outsourced accounting to provide reports for you?

Background story - I'm CFO of a growing data science consulting company. We started simply with a spreadsheet to track cashflow and setting budgets. Having computer science background I moved from spreadsheet to a custom tool I built in R to allow simulating the budget/cashflow and to add reporting. As we continue growing it no longer makes sense to spend time iterating on the tool and I'd like to just use one of the existing tools on the market.

It would be very helpful to hear your advice coming from experience on this topic.
