Ask HN: W8-BEN-E for UK Company While in US on L1-B Visa

Has anybody done the following successfully (without getting deported)?

* Work on the side while on an L1-B visa * Money is received by a "foreign entity" like a private limited company in the UK * Get the income as dividends from the UK company * Pay taxes on the income, everything above board.
