How to learn emacs

I give myself 3 / 10 stars on my emacs skills which is terrifying given I use it daily. Other than simply logging the hours, what are some resources that helped you enhance productivity using emacs? I'm thinking along the lines of a Mavis Beacon for emacs but any ideas are welcome.
