I don't know why people keep submitting these Reddit-tier stories to Hacker News. They aren't thought-provoking and don't lead to quality discourse. Go to r/news or r/politics if you want to talk about stories like this. As long as you (collective you) keep submitting stories like this, we (the ones that want to maintain Hacker News' unique culture) will continue to flag them into oblivion.
