Ask HN: Getting back in the zone is easy?
I regularly read the opinion that if a coder is in the zone and is interrupted, it takes quite a while to get back in. Today in their Windows 10 feature announcement, Microsoft quoted this time as 23 minutes.
Thing is, I've never really had this problem. I can get back in the zone quite quickly. Maybe my work just isn't that intense (JS frontend).
Similarly, I don't find reading a screen late at night delays sleep. It takes me less than five minutes to get to sleep at night, and I've often fallen asleep phone in hand.
Am I a freak? Anyone else out there who doesn't have these issues?
