Ask HN: Do coersion agreements override constitutional rights?

I've stopped reading any Verizon owned portal such as yahoo, aol, techcrunch, as they've changed their TOS. I suppose due to the GDPR coming. The overview change says I must give up my rights. I now block them when I see the warning. I'm not a lawyer.
