"Fuck Off Google: Don't let Google take over Berlin", which linked to ttps://fuckoffgoogle.de/, fits entirely within the purposes and goals of this website, was immediately flagged and dismissed as "Anarchist BS" by a half-dozen people towing a clear party line.

I'm going to bet all of them work at Google.

This is what HackerNews exists to spotlight, people come here to find stories like this. If a story like this can be killed to protect Google's interests, then HN has become part of that cancer, has it not?

The website got discussed 4 days ago (175 comments) in https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=17027834 The submission from today has plenty of comments and I see it marked at [dupe] https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=17059006.

Conspiracy theories about downvoting armies on HN aren't really helpful.

[I agree that it's not a good idea to create a conspiracy theory every time an article is flagged.]
