I'm missing the evidence that shows that people with autism, schizophrenia, homosexuality, sex-dysmorphia, left-handedness, asymmetrical bodies, high intelligence, atheism are prone to having worse than average immune systems.
Also, where's the evidence that schizophrenia, homosexuality et al are on the rise since the industrial revolution?
Since atheism has been around for at least 4000 years, I don't think they can attribute it to "bad" genes. It is a choice by people to believe in a god or gods or no gods.
The funny thing I find is that intelligence is not an indicator of whether one believes in or does not believe in a god, or gods.
For example, there are those who were believers in Jesus Christ as God and have come to the position that there is no god. These are at all levels of intelligence. There are those who didn't believe in a god and now argue strongly for Jesus Christ as God. Again these are at all levels of intelligence.
There are those who fit in the autistic spectrum and sit on both sides.
Whether or not you are an atheist boils down to what you choose, it is not your genetics or intelligence. Based on the evidence that is placed before me, I have come strongly to believe that there is God, that He is Creator and that He is Jesus Christ. How other people see and weigh that evidence will be up to them and they have the choice to choose differently.
To say that atheists have "bad" genetics and that this is the reason for their choice is not only bad science, it is bad for society and for allowing people to choose. If such an idea was to gain any sort of traction, it would be very bad.
