Loopt looking for VP Engineering

Loopt is looking for a VP of Engineering to lead its talented engineering, QA and IT/engineering operations teams. Reporting to Loopt’s President, you will be responsible for all technical areas of Loopt.

You are a seasoned technology leader with the following experiences: •Working in a startup environment, understanding the balance between agility and process, and knowing how to handle rapid company growth. •Being a hands-on leader, always willing to do what it takes to deliver high-quality products. •Commanding your team's respect through your work and character. You know when to push your team, and when to push back on your peers and the Board. •Attracting and retaining top technical talent. •Leading development teams in both Web and mobile environments. •Consistently delivering quality products on schedule. •Fostering a culture of rapid iteration, innovation and experimentation with new technologies. •Contributing as an architect. •Working as part of an executive management team to solve key strategic and operational challenges.
