Buddy, GitHub is not independent. Never was. People who invested, want their return of... investment.

Looks like some people never knew what a capitalism was and that they lived in one.
Not wanting everything to be owned by a conglomerate is hardly anti-capitalism.
What would be the alternative, going public ? I don't think that alternative is a better one,
Getting flashbacks to the "protests" about Facebook changing the UI to be centered around this new concept of a "feed," except this is even more ridiculous.
