Ask HN: How to get into an AI PhD programme without being an A+ student?

Hi there. I'm finishing my undergraduate studies (Computer Science) in Spain, with a 7-8 average. If my marks were good enough my current university would probably keep me, but I don't think I really have options to get into their AI masters and PhD programme.

What should I do in order to get into an AI programme? Is it feasible? For instance, I'm looking for AI masters in Europe, but I'm really lost.
