Ask HN: Why do you hate (or love?) your bank?

This is an attempy at a (very) informal survey about what people in this community love or hate about their current bank.

As a tech savvy consumer I've complained about banking for years, and there are a lot of things I wish it would do differently (For instance, why cant I just constantly be underwritten once I have an active mortgage - is it really necessary for me to "apply" again when I've been paying my bill on time for years?)

Like many of you I really hoped Simple would fix this years ago but that seems lost with the time now ... I'm just hoping to hear some of your thoughts on banking as this is a community of smart people who's opinions I usually hold in high regard
