Anyone else having issues with TravisCI?

I have found it to be increasingly unstable recently:

* Network timeouts(few instances just this year apparently)

* Jobs failing at random points for no describable reason(the logs just end and the job is marked failed)

* Jobs taking a long time to start even though the status page shows no pending jobs and low capacity usage

* Partial and slow loading logs

* Randomly VERY slow job execution(VM contention?!)

On top of this the evolution of the platform is incredibly slow(no docker-in-docker, no artifacts, no test result viz/tracking, no build chains, etc, etc), so I'm looking at alternatives. CircleCI looks very promising and much more professionally run. Supposedly it has much better performance as well. Although nobody seems to have build chains which is hugely disappointing coming from something like Jenkins, Bamboo, or TeamCity.

I'd love to hear thoughts on the TravisCI situation and alternatives people recommend.

We use Circle CI and usually happy with them
