Meh i'm sure they'll change their position when they get flooded with erotic fiction games like itch.io but...the author of this article comes across like a self righteous asshole. As much as I kind of dislike things valve does it seems kind of hypocritical to write an article calling valve arrogant while dictating what it should do. As much as the author thinks valve has a responsibility to uphold whatever values they think it should, it doesn't. The company can decide whatever they like about whatever standards they would like to hold the games they allow in their store to. They have no responsibility in being the upholders of morality....they really don't. I'm sure they will figure out what works based on the kinds of games that begin to appear in their store. If it negatively impacts their business their policies will likely again adjust. Because in the end they're there to make money, not be the moral police.
