Ask HN: How to begin and implement Machine learning as a JavaScript Developer?

I'm just a beginner who is puzzled where to start and what to do with machine learning. I'm aware of ML use cases but don't have a clear vision on how to progress. Algorithms and Maths excite me. I would like to get hands-on ML and build software on top of it. Any kind of help from ML enthusiasts would be highly appreciated. Thanks!
