Ask HN: Advice on stock options and series D company valuation

I don't have a lot of experience here and an advice from someone in this community would mean a lot. I got an offer from a company with 40,000 stock options (right now its ~1$). The company is a late stage series D big data as a service company. Assuming it has an exit, how much realistically I can expect the stock price to go when it exits (IPO/Acquisition). What factors do I consider in the limited information thats available? If there is more information available, how can I research it?
