Security Engineer to Secure Software Developer

Hi Guys,

I am m0hit from India, working as a Security Engineer from the last 5 years. I have worked on Web, Thick Clients and now IoT Security. I have experience in Secure Code review but I want to push this practice further on large scale. Thus I have decided that I should change my domain from Security Engineer to Developer (Security Perspective). I have knowledge of programming but haven't quite developed an Full/small scale application yet. Just small/big scripts and tweeks.

Please guide to how actually I should start in order to get that Software Developer Mode in me .
