Launch HN: Goodcover (YC S17) – Free Insurance Policy Review App

Hi HN, Chris and Dan here with Goodcover (http://www.goodcover.com/). We are building a fairer property insurance company, and were part of the YC S17 batch. We’re still pre-launch, but we’ve wired up a Free Advice Service (http://app.goodcover.com/advice) to help with people’s current Home, Condo or Renters Insurance policy. In building Goodcover, we’ve found there is usually a gap between what people expect they are covered for, and what their coverage actually does. This app can help check your policy for some common problems that cause a ton of grief at claims time.

No obligation, and feel free to take our advice back to your current provider and get stuff fixed. Usually it’s free, cheap, or you can even save premium. Or, if you’re lucky, it’s fine and you have added peace of mind. Goodcover Insurance Solutions LLC is licensed in California (0M20813) so if you are not in CA we can still have a look, but you should definitely review our advice with your agent, broker or insurer, or at least one in your state.
