Ask HN: Where do you go to ask broader questions about programming?

For example, I have a few question about the way I'm going to architecture my next project for work, but I don't quite know where to go, since StackOverflow doesn't allow broad questions, better suited for discussion rather than a single answer, and a lot of forums are language-specific.
