Ask HN: How to find a mentor as an experienced professional

I've been wondering how experienced people in their field find mentors late in their career. I assume it's easier to find a mentor as a junior as people tend to be willing to help grow new people in their field. I've been mentoring a few people over the last few years and those relationships just point out to myself that I lack the guidance of a mentor and should find one. I'm just not sure how to go about it now.
