San Mateo is considering 55 foot height limits until 2030 – can you help?

Do you live or work in San Mateo? The city is considering a ballot measure that will cap new development to 55 feet until 2030. This will make it harder to add more apartments and more office space, which should increase housing costs and make it harder to start companies, hire employees, afford childcare, etc.

Do you work for SurveyMonkey, Rakuten, Oracle, Franklin Templeton, VISA, or another employer in San Mateo? Do you live in San Mateo? We are going to need a lot of help to beat this ballot measure - there are a lot of folks that would love to see the city become an unaffordable playground for the wealthy.

There is a big City Council meeting on July 16 - it would be great to get residents and employers to show up and ask the City Council to put an alternative measure on the ballot, that would allow for denser development around Caltrain stations.
