Breaking down Google Cloud costs by region/zone or practically anything

Recently, I was working on a problem on how to break down Google Cloud costs by region/zone and I was surprised how not trivial this task was.

After solving the problem, I am open sourcing the solution and it would be great to get some community feedback ;-)
