Ask HN: How to analyze Chipotle phishing scam

Hi there. I received a text message from a friend that directed me to a link to get a free chipotle gift card after sending link to 4 friends. I found out it is a phishing scam and I am curious how can I analyze this to see what information they extracted and anything I can learn about it out of curiosity.
