Nimble (YC S17) Seeks Django/DevOps/Scalability Contractor

Hi all,

Nimble (S17) is a mission-driven company using machine learning to help school districts find and hire the right teachers.

We're seeking a contractor to help us 10ish hours per week. There is an (optional) opportunity to transition to full-time in the fall.

Skills we're looking for:

-Django. We use a Django REST framework and Postgres. (React on the front-end but you probably won't have to touch that.) -DevOps with our technologies (Docker, Heroku) -Scaling applications and writing load tests

What you'll be helping with:

-Site speed: we're growing quickly and our load times are slowing down. Help with refactoring our Django querying and implementing new technology (we're thinking Redis but open to ideas) to speed things up. -Make improvements to our Docker setup. -Work with other engineers on backend and devops challenges.
