Ask HN: Seattle Smokey air dangers – scientific resources?

Hi all, I’m in Seattle this week for work. As many of you know, there is a lot of smoke in the air from Canadian wildfires. I see a lot of mitigation efforts. Some seem rediculous. Others seem like overkill. Can anyone point me to scientific resources discussig health risks and mitigation efforts? So far I’ve only found mainstream media unscientific hyperbole.
