Ask HN: Can you recommend upcoming (web-)technologies?

I've got some free time currently and a profound interest in learning something completely new. What are some upcoming (web-)technologies that you're excited about (but that could need another tutorial/blog post)?

My plan is to try to share my expertise in form of a blog. I would like to write about a mix of my experiences and the new thing I'd be learning, potentially by comparing things to "the old ways".

I would say that my deepest understanding of a technology lies within the Angular framework, but there are hundreds of very good blog posts out there explaining everything related to Angular already.
