Ask HN: What questions to ask when hiring for senior technical position?

We are a post series A startup, with a development team of about 10 people. We are trying to hire a senior developer (with experiences managing a small team). As a non-tech co-founder, what are some good questions I could ask during the interview (assuming the tech aspect of the interview is covered by someone else)? Thanks.
