Show HN: Math Shooting – A game to improve in Math (SUS2018)

We are one of the companies participating in Start Up School [0]

We make edutainment action games.

Our first game is a shooter that employs simple math as the main mechanic. Our objective is to make a fun, fast paced game that can be beaten only by improving your math skills.

We launched our first prototype in the Google Play Store[1] and would like to know what you think. Any thoughtful criticism is welcome. And before you say it: we picked a shooter (hence the icon on the Play Store) as an experiment, but based on the feedback we are thinking on changing the graphics or switching to a fantasy style game.

We want to know if you feel challenged by the game (even though right now it's really barebone), I sure feel like I should polish off my math skills! We have a ton of ideas for improving the gameplay, for example:

* Arcade style mode, think tetris, never ending game with increasing difficulty and highscores

* Multiplayer mode where you challenge your friends

* New skins, weapons, enemies and maps as the player levels up

* Different monetization strategies

* and others...
