Ask HN: Where are the database for high dimensional similarity search?

It seems like with the advent of embeddings and other deep learning inspired vectorization someone must have made a database that is able to do (approximate) k-nn on high dimensional vectors. Like ElasticSearch is for Lucene I'm looking for a "database" that interfaces with something like annoy or faiss, but I've yet to find one! Seems like a great opportunity?
