I'm a Computer Science geek who moved to Germany to obtain his PhD in Computational Linguistics (coming very soon!). My main area of work right now is NLP and AI research, catching up with the latest developments on Deep Learning and Reinforcement Learning. I also have several years of experience both as a Linux sysadmin (yes, I'm maintaining my own e-mail server) and as an independent software developer.

Was working remotely for couple of years after college, then moved into office for higher pay, it was a nice experience, but I value flexibility much more, so am looking for a remote position. Also, would like to find a company with good development practices and low technical debt (unless you're a startup, then I would like to help you reduce your technical debt :). My favorite types of problems are hard to trace bugs and figuring out best approaches to do something new, it's just not that interesting developing something you already know how to do.
