Ask HN: Have you built apps with Vue and Rails? Any opinions/learnings?

I'm working on a site that'll have 3 components: backend, admin, and a frontend in vue. I'm building this in Rails and Vue and I'm having trouble deciding if I want to treat the frontend and the backend/admin as fully separate applications, or if I want to build vue in the rails app (using a vue gem).

Have you build an app using vue and rails together, and do you have any thoughts or opinions?
