Interesting story there. We'd get emails saying: Why can't we see a working demo of PadPressed? We did, but it just wasn't clear enough. So, I rewrote the site copy over the weekend to highlight that like whoa.
However, one little nitpick: the copyright and credit text at the bottom of the footer are killing me with the text shadow. My eyes strained to make out the characters.
Jason, thanks for articulating "show progress." That is really profound and applies in many areas of life. I've seen a lot of posts about "iterate" and such, but none of that directly attacked the old advertising slogan "you never get a second chance to make a first impression," until you did.
