Ask HN: How do you use Evidence Based Scheduling personally or professionally?

I've been really interested in utilising EBS ever since I read about it in Joel Spolsky's article[1], but have had difficulty implementing in my personal life. Does HN use EBS either professionally or personally, and what software do you use to achieve it?
