Ask HN: Aren't you worried about Jim Acosta incident being mass manipulation?

I saw the original and modified version of Jim Acosta incident released by the White House and ... seriously, the White House?

Even though the list of issues is long with what the presidency is doing in the US, this is - at least for me - a higher level of seriousness as it involves sharing a wrong and biased point of view from the White House.

What worries me the most is that even though it's not true, many people will believe it is. And this is the beginning of something very bad, yet currently accepted as it is just a hiccup along all the bad stuff made by the White House.

So ... am I the only one worried about it?
