Blame Fox, not Facebook, for fake news

The rise of conservative propaganda and its lynchpin, Fox News, is the most important news story of our era but is mostly overlooked by real media. Many here have asked what can be done about this. Real media can turn a glaring spotlight on conservative misinformation. I want daily reports on how Fox News is manipulating the narrative and spinning the news of the day. I want headlines about the lies that are being passed around conservative circles like swine flu. Every day. I want unrelenting coverage of just how delusional average Fox News viewers are by polling and comparing their knowledge of the real world to consumers of real media. I want resistance to the idea of "mainstream" media when Fox News is the most watched cable news source. I want ALL real journalists to start using air quotes around "News" when discussing Fox. I want Fox shunned by all real media and treated as the pariah that they are.

We have let Fox, Limbaugh, Breitbart, Drudge, etc. alone with only mild, intermittent criticism for far to long. Too many news organizations have been intimidated by Fox, which fights back dirty when attacked. I want a sustained and relentless campaign by all real media to tear this toxic ecosystem open and drown it in the light of a thousand suns. This is the biggest story of our era.
