Hi HN,

EnvKey (https://www.envkey.com) is hiring its first two full-time engineers to help distribute and protect the world’s API keys, credentials, and configuration.

Through easy-to-use end-to-end encryption and dev-friendly integrations, EnvKey makes it ridiculously easy to keep configuration and secrets securely in sync across teams and servers.

We’re closing in on 100 paying organizations, handle millions of API calls per week, and have strong organic growth based primarily on word-of-mouth from developers who love us. We’re backed by great investors like YCombinator, FundersClub, Background Capital, and two founders of Firebase. Now it’s time to start building out a team as we make the product more robust and go after larger segments of the market.

Started by a solo technical founder (that’s me!), we have indie hacker roots and an engineering-led culture, but we’re also serious about building a large, profitable, and impactful business.

To do it, we need your help. As one our first hires, you’ll have a huge say in the direction of this product and future products. You'll get significant equity and the chance to help build a top-shelf engineering organization from the ground up. Apart from providing you with an endless stream of technical challenges at all levels of the stack, we’re also progressive when it comes to work-life balance, avoiding burnout, achieving more with less, and implementing smart practices that allow us to unplug and rest easy when we’re not working.

This is a unique opportunity for two exceptionally smart, experienced, and motivated engineers who relish overcoming obstacles and learning new things. Read on for more details.
