Ask HN: Value of certificates from Harvard extension

Talking about the whole certificate, usually 3 or 4 courses on a subject.

Thinking about doing one in finance, what value do they hold in the industry?

I'm a software guy, but I want to do something else, or maybe mix both, and I love finance (investment risk, what have you).

At $10k for the whole course, would you say they're a good investment?
