China's egregious violations of human rights and privacy have become so common that I am not surprised by this kind of news anymore (I mean, has China's current government ever respected human rights?). The only thing that can really be done now is to hope that somehow the regime falls apart. I personally have zero respect for China's government, and cannot understand why the hardworking Chinese people don't just rip it to shreds.
I'm surprised about the fact that cars are collecting real-time location data at all. Am I being tracked in US too? I don't remember I read any privacy policy when I bought my car.
