Google Play Music subscriptions billed on 27th have lost YouTube Premium access
So this is an issue that seems to have just developed in the last day or two. If you have YouTube Premium through a Google Play Music subscription and your billing recurs on the 27th (US timezones) then you likely cannot access those YouTube features anymore.
It seems to be contained to accounts on/around that day only which is really interesting. Also, quite a few people already have contacted support and it seems that Google isn't able to fix the subscription issues in chat support threads, leading me to think it's not just a flag that a support technician can flip on/off?
I'm still kinda new on HN, so forgive me if this info is incorrectly submitted. I thought it would be a good discussion topic around billing and the complexities, even at huge companies like Google.
