Ask HN: Is Apple's time server inaccurate today?

I am traveling outside the US and noticed my phone and Macbook which are always in sync timewise were off by 2 minutes today. I checked the US Nist server to find my phone is correct (accounting for timezone difference) but that my Mac is running 2 minutes fast. When I checked the apple time server setup on the mac to make sure nothing got changed it is showing 2 minutes fast, hence why my Mac is.

Even network latency wouldn't account for 2 minutes, so I am not sure what is up. Can anyone else confirm/refute this? Just trying to see what is going on.
